Community Guidelines

Standards that keep our community strong

Welcome to our community of martial arts instructors. This platform exists to help instructors become better teachers by sharing ideas, experience, and practical resources. To keep this space productive and supportive, all members are expected to follow these guidelines:

1. Be Respectful

  • Treat all members with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Disagreements are welcome; disrespect is not.
  • No personal attacks, insults, or dismissive behavior.
  • We are here to learn from one another.

2. No School Advertising

  • This platform is not a marketing space.
  • Do not promote your dojo, programs, seminars, products, or paid services.
  • Links to personal school websites for promotional purposes are not permitted.
  • The focus is on shared teaching knowledge — not recruitment or sales.

3. No Style Wars

  • Karate has many styles and lineages, each with value.
  • No disparaging other styles, systems, or organizations.
  • Discussions comparing approaches must remain educational and respectful.
  • This is a space for unity among instructors, not division.

4. Give Credit

  • If you share content created by someone else, always give proper credit to the original author.

5. No Dangerous Instructions

  • Safety is a priority.
  • Do not post instructions that could cause harm if misused.
  • Avoid sharing unsafe training methods or reckless practices.
  • Content should promote responsible, ethical instruction.
  • Our goal is to make instructors better — not to encourage unsafe behavior.

Final Note

This community is built by instructors, for instructors. By participating, you agree to uphold these standards and contribute in a way that strengthens the teaching community as a whole. If content violates these guidelines, it may be removed to preserve the integrity of the platform.
